There are two things that I know to be true.
1) I have plenty of things to write about. Ideas flit around in my head looking for an outlet. But at the end of the day I find myself more drawn to the couch than the computer keyboard.
2) I don’t find myself feeling overly grateful these days. I’ve been more focused on the annoyances than the goodnesses.
I have noticed on FB that people are starting their November “30 Days of Thankfulness”. Maybe this is a way to kill two birds with one stone? I don’t have to write much. I do have to focus on the positives.
So, for day #1, I will start with this. I am thankful that Dave is tolerating his latest chemo medicine well. He does have the itchy rash but so far it is bearable. His CEA numbers came down significantly since he had the Y90 procedure. So, as far as we know, everything is quiet. That is definitely something for which to be thankful.
